October Intentions

Updated: Mar 18, 2020

It’s Fall Y’all! With that said, it seemed fitting to create goals that matched the season. At the beginning of each month, I like to set aside time to create goals or intentions that I would like to accomplish within the next 31 days.

  1. 31 Days of Gratitude.

  2. Social Media and Technology Breaks. Part of changing my mindset means that I need to change some of my habits. Taking time to unplug from social media and technology, even if it is an hour every day. Giving time to think outside of the box and discover new ideas. Developing a new and improved me!

  1. Enjoy the Outdoors. This may be hard to believe, but sometimes I forget that I live on such a beautiful island. I have realized that staying inside means that I miss out on so many great places and experiences. In fact, there is an ancient temple not too far away from the house that I have been dying to explore, and it is in walking distance! Instead of working out indoors, I want to try and use the outdoors to my advantage.

  1. Eat to live NOT live to eat. As a busy college student, this is much easier said than done. This month I have dedicated every Sunday to grocery shopping, meal prep, and preparing for my week. Not only will it save me money in the end, but it will also help ensure I get the nutrients I need to get me through the day… especially with a more active lifestyle. 😉 (Stay tuned for my post next week. I will be sharing my go-to recipes and tips to eating healthy on the go!)

P.S. This post was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers: Lee From America. Check out her blog on this website for more of her awesome posts! http://www.leefromamerica.com/
